Ron Ewing

Director, Chairman

Mr. Ewing has been involved in the mining and mineral exploration and operational industry as a director and officer of several public companies over a thirty-year period including both producers and exploration companies. As an officer, he served in various finance and corporate affairs functions. Director and officer of Gold-Ore Resources Ltd. (~50,000 ounces per annum production) until the company was acquired by Elgin Mining, Executive Vice-President of Euro-Zinc Mining Corporation, Vice-President of Lundin Mining Corp and a Director of Oro Mining Ltd.


Kristina Walcott

Director, President and Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Walcott has worked in various capacities in the mining and mineral exploration industry for the past 20 years. Ms. Walcott has held administrative and field positions including General Manager of Orex Laboratories, a diamond sample processing facility and Mines Land Manager for Pacific North West Capital and CanAlaska Uranium Limited, both Vancouver-based mineral exploration companies with extensive land positions in Canada and the United States. In addition she was actively involved in the geophysical contracting industry where she assisted in remote-site field geophysical surveys for major and junior mining firms. Prior to her appointment as President and CEO Ms. Walcott was the Company’s VP Business Development since March 2005 where was responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in the mining sector.


Alvin Jackson

Director

During Mr. Jackson's 40+ year career, he was one of the founding principals of EuroZinc Mining Corporation and was largely responsible for the acquisition of the Aljustrel and Neves-Corvo zinc and copper mines in Portugal. As President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Jackson operated Neves-Corvo mine which was producing at approximately 200 million lbs. of copper per annum. In addition to Neves-Corvo under his stewardship, EuroZinc also completed full feasibility and re-engineered the Aljustrel mine which has since then been put back into production.
 

Prior to EuroZinc, Mr. Jackson held senior exploration manager positions for Amoco Minerals/Cyprus Minerals in Canada, Norway and New Zealand. During his tenure he was directly involved with exploration and development on two major gold deposits which are now producers. Subsequent to his involvement, he was directly involved with the exploration and pre-feasibility of a significant porphyry copper deposit which is also currently in production.


David Knight

Director

Mr. Knight practised securities and mining law for 40 years prior to his retirement in 2021, most recently as a senior partner with Weirfoulds LLP based in Toronto. His practice included advising clients on a broad range of securities matters, including public and private financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and regulatory compliance. He regularly represented both issuers and investment dealers. Mr. Knight also represented mining clients on property acquisition and development. He was ranked in the Best Lawyers in Canada, 2011-2022 - Natural Resources Law and was a recommended lawyer in the area of mining law. Early in his career Mr. Knight also served a secondment with the Ontario Securities Commission where he was involved in matters of financing, enforcement and policy development. 


Garnet Dawson

Director

Mr. Dawson has over 40 years of experience in the exploration and mining business working with senior and junior mining companies in the Americas, Europe, Africa and China including both exploration and production roles. He has held executive and directorship roles with several Canadian mining companies including most recently as Chief Executive Officer of GoldMining Inc. He has led teams that have added significant resources and reserves at the Neves Corvo and Aljustrel copper and zinc mines in Portugal (Lundin/EuroZinc), Sao Jorge gold project in Brazil (Brazilian Gold) and more recently through acquisition of resource stage gold projects in the Americas at GoldMining. Prior to joining EuroZinc, he consulted internationally and held a number of positions with Battle Mountain Canada Inc., British Columbia Geological Survey and Esso Minerals Canada Ltd. Mr. Dawson is a registered Professional Geologist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Geology from the University of Manitoba and a Master's of Science degree in Economic Geology from the University of British Columbia.


Glen Dickson

Director

Mr. Glen Dickson, B.Sc., Adv. has over 40 years of exploration and mining and operational experience in several different countries. During the past 30 years he focused on gold exploration in a wide variety of depositional environments. He served as the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Cumberland Resources Limited. With Cumberland Mr. Dickson was directly responsible for the identification and advancement of two gold mining districts in Nunavut. Today combined annual production from the two districts totals 750,000 ounces of gold, historic productions totals 4.5 m ounces and current reserves total 6 millions ounces. The Company was acquired by Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. He served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Gold-Ore Resources Ltd. During this time Gold-Ore acquired and restarted a gold mine in Northern Sweden. Currently the mine produces ~45,000 ounces per annum. Gold-Ore was acquired by ElginMining Ltd. As well Mr. Dickson served as a director on several other companies including Atna Resources Ltd., BrazilianGold Corporation and Venerable Ventures Ltd. Mr. Dickson is currently President and CEO of Meliadine Gold Ltd. a private resource company with mineral holdings in Nunavut.


Reagan Glazier

Director

Mr Glazier holds a BSc in geology from the University of Calgary (2014), and is currently the President & CEO of Pacific Bay Minerals Ltd.


Maurice Tagami

Director

Mr. Tagami served as the Vice President, Mining Operations and later as Technical Ambassador for Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. from July 2012 to November 2022. He is a Metallurgical Engineer from the University of British Columbia with over 40 years of experience in mining and mineral processing. He was responsible for maintaining partnerships with over 20 operating mines and 13 development projects from which Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. has metal streaming agreements. Mr. Tagami currently serves on the Board of Maple Gold Mines and Foran Mining Corporation as the Lead Independent Director. Previously, he held the positions of President and CEO, with Keegan Resources Inc. and Senior Project Manager (Onca Puma Project) with Canico Resource Corp.
 

Mr. Tagami previously served on the Board of Brett Resources Inc. Mr. Tegami has directed and supervised all the metallurgical work completed on both Golden Summit and Shorty Creek since 2013.


Vivienne Artz

Director

Ms. Artz is a board director and advisor, strategic consultant and expert on data and privacy, financial crime and inclusion diversity issues, with over twenty year’s experience in the financial services sector. Previously, Ms. Artz was a Managing Director and Chief Privacy Officer at the London Stock Exchange Group, Refinitiv and Thomson Reuters, leading the Privacy Office and overseeing global privacy strategy and practice across 190 countries. Ms. Artz was global Head of Privacy Legal at Citibank where she worked for 17 years, after practicing as a lawyer in London. Ms. Artz is Patron of Women in Finance, Rwanda, and is on the Advisory Board of Women in Banking and Finance UK, having been President and CEO from 2017 to 2020. Ms Artz was awarded an Officer of the British Empire in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours in 2021 for services to financial services and gender diversity.
