Rob McEwen, CEO of US Gold Corp. has highlighted Freegold Ventures in a recent interview with Streetwise Reports. In the interview, Mr. McEwen talks about the current plight of the junior miners and shares some names he thinks are well positioned to weather the storm, and perhaps find that "big discovery" that will help jump-start the sector.
Mr. McEwen has been associated with the resource industry for 29 years. He is the founder of Goldcorp Inc., where he grew the Company from a market capitalization of $50 million to approximately $8 billion. Throughout Rob's career his efforts have been recognized with such awards as Canadian Business magazine's "Most Innovative CEO", The Northern Miner's "Mining Man of the Year", Ernst & Young's Ontario Entrepreneur of the Year (Energy Category) and the PDAC "Developer of the Year".
